- Lead complex audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies
- Design audit strategies, identify risk areas, and manage projects within deadlines and budgets
- Review internal and external audit work, including workpapers and report inputs, to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Apply GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards to evaluate accounting practices and regulatory compliance
- Assess audit requirements for clients, including SEC registrants, and identify accounting and audit risks
- Advise on complex accounting issues, regulatory changes, and technical accounting guidance
- Mentor and develop audit staff and seniors through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive guidance and acting as a trusted advisor
- Drive process improvements and implement integrated auditing technology to enhance efficiency and audit quality
- Support business development by identifying new client opportunities and contributing to firm risk management initiatives
- 10 years of public accounting experience
- Open to industry
- Experience with publicly traded clients required
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- CPA required
- Excel experience required
