Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager. They seek an Accountant/AP Lead to join their Irving, TX office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
- Execute weekly ACH, wire, and check payment runs accurately and on schedule
- Maintain vendor relationships, reconcile statements, and resolve inquiries or discrepancies
- Administer builder-related expenses, including coding, tracking, reimbursements, and reporting against project budgets
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of builder expense data
- Maintain vendor master data, support onboarding, and enforce approval workflows and payment controls
- Monitor AP aging and provide reporting to support cash planning and project-level visibility
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, AP subledger balancing, and expense classification review
- Manage Ramp expense reporting and corporate card activity, including approvals, reconciliations, and policy compliance
- Improve AP workflows through automation tools, system-based processes, and ongoing process enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-6 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Strong experience with supporting month-end close processes
- Experience with expense management tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in a growing, process-building environment
- Strong communication skills and vendor/customer service mindset
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite or similar) is a plus
