Our client is a multi-brand fashion platform. They seek a Senior Director of Human Resources to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Advise ownership and executives on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy
- Align HR initiatives with business objectives, growth plans, and operational priorities
- Coordinate with external HR consultants as the internal point of contact
- Analyze organizational structure, team design, and resource allocation for efficiency and scalability
- Implement organizational development efforts, including assessments, role clarity, and rightsizing
- Identify performance gaps and enhance productivity while managing costs
- Design and roll out performance management frameworks, review cycles, and feedback systems
- Establish accountability structures and reinforce a high-performance culture
- Coach managers to strengthen leadership, team management, and employee engagement
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and hiring processes to meet business goals
Requirements
- 10-20 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Retail, fashion, apparel, consumer goods, or multi-brand industry required
- Experience implementing performance management systems is required
- Solid understanding of compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR operations
- Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence decision-making
- Strong background in organizational development, performance management, and talent strategy
- Experience working with or managing external HR consultants and recruiting agencies
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging technology to enhance HR effectiveness
