Job DescriptionThe Application Engineer is responsible for sizing and troubleshooting products within the product line, designing customized products for unique customer applications, and providing engineering support to customer care.
Key AccountabilitiesAids in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers, also communicates product challenges and customer specific requirements for resolution.
Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force and acting as technical liaison to the sales team.
Technical product and design assistance to internal and external customers
Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments.
Drawing, Checking, and Quoting ACAD Sales Drawings/ Submittals
Project Management of large Sales Projects
Produce Presentations and product comparisons for sales assistance.
Assist in Producing Sales drawings and siphonic drain layouts.
Provide tolerancing assistance for Made to Order products.
Determine product technical strength/weaknesses vs. competition.
BS in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access)
Teamwork, presentation, project management, and verbal/written communication skills required.
ACAD/ Inventor Computer skills
Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Customer Driven Sense of Urgency.
Must have ability to lead, train, and drive change.
Self-motivated individual able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
