Serve as a Talent Advisor to Hiring Managers regarding the recruiting and hiring process. Responsible for the entire recruiting life cycle, from intake meeting and strategy, sourcing (including passive candidates), qualifying, interviewing, debriefing on, and closing both internal and external candidates for assigned professional positions. Independently develop and manage candidate flow, supporting a wide variety of job functions (engineering, supply chain, marketing, project management, IT, finance, sales, etc.) for professional positions up to Director level. Work on and lead initiatives in the Talent Acquisition space.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the business and become a preferred talent acquisition resource for internal hiring managers. Work with HR and Hiring Managers to understand strategic business objectives and organizational design to develop strategies to meet current and future staffing needs. Serve as designated lead to parts of the organization as assigned.
  • Set position sourcing strategy and execute in a timely fashion.
  • Focus on creative and innovative passive candidate sourcing. Source and build a pipeline of passive candidates for various unique or hard to fill positions as directed.
  • Maintain candidate and requisition records in a fully compliant manner within the Applicant Tracking system.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Talent Acquisition programs, including recruitment activity planning for college job fairs, HR initiatives, recruiting technologies.
  • Partner with disciplines in the organization, and corresponding schools, serving as point person for orchestrating and coordinating intern and co-op programs independently.
  • Work on and lead a variety of projects designed to elevate the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Research, implement and support diversity recruiting efforts with company initiatives. Build a diverse talent pipeline by using creative DEI sourcing strategies and techniques, building both a short and long-term pipeline. This includes leading relationships with diversity organizations, and implementing partnership plans.
  • Mentor more junior recruiters and others doing recruiting in the organization. Provide expertise on recruiting best practices to HR partners doing work in the recruiting space.
  • Schedule interviews. Oversee work of HR Assistant on making travel arrangements and scheduling assessments for candidates.
  • Work with internal departments on their summer internship goals and hiring.
  • Continuously improve operations by researching new ideas and techniques and sharing with the Talent Acquisition team and beyond, as deemed appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred, Associate's degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, including expertise with passive sourcing tools and methodologies including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience leading projects independently
  • AIRS certification a plus.
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
  • Must be result and customer oriented.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders in serving as a Talent Advisor.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines essential.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills a must.
  • Ability to creatively source candidates by using networking and cold calling as well as database mining.
  • Proven track record in search execution in a high growth, team-based environment.
  • Widely trusted, direct, truthful and worthy of respect, with a passion for quality.
  • Ability to provide direct, complete and actionable, positive feedback to others and isn't afraid to act.
  • Strongly organized and passionate about recruiting.
