Job Description:
As a Sushi Chef at our fast-casual sushi restaurant, you will play a key role in crafting delicious and visually appealing sushi creations while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. Your culinary skills, precision, and dedication to quality will contribute to our restaurant's continued success.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi dishes, and nigiri with precision and consistency.
Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in all sushi preparations.
Collaborate with the sushi team to maintain an efficient workflow during busy shifts.
Follow established recipes and plating guidelines while adding your unique creativity to our sushi offerings.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the management team to order supplies as needed.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Contribute to the development of new menu items and specials.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a sushi chef in a restaurant setting.
Proficiency in sushi preparation techniques, fish handling, and knife skills.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, multitask efficiently, and maintain accuracy.
Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
Creativity and a passion for crafting visually appealing and delicious sushi dishes.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Starting Rate: $15.00-18.00 tips
