**Host/Host**

**Duties:**

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant

- Escort guests to their assigned tables

- Provide menus and assist guests with any questions or concerns

- Take reservations and manage the seating chart

- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station

- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency

- Assist with food service duties as needed

**Skills:**

- Excellent guest relations skills, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere

- Proficiency in using Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software

- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services

- Strong hospitality skills, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

- Effective phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and staff members

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred
