Location Requirement: San Jose, CA or Alpharetta, GA 2-3x a week (Please only apply if this works for you.)

This Senior Software Backend Engineer, Java will participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation and test. They'll implement REST API to authenticate and interact with Cloud services to fetch the URLs pointing to data. They'll conduct automated unit test case and work to resolve customer issues. 

Minimum requirements for the position: 

1) MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline

2) 3 -5 year of Software Development Experience and proficiency in Java, Python

3) Experience with REST API

4) Strong knowledge/experience with front end/back end web application and protocols

Additional Desired Skills: 

1) Fundamental understanding of web services and REST

2) Implement REST API clients to interact with Cloud services using spring framework 

3) Ability to work with JSON, different data structures, databases and algorithms

4) Design and develop components of a large-scale distributed system with a keen sense for high performance and scalability.

5) Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure it meets requirements

6) Participate in major phases of the product development and design cycle, like development, test, debug and support

7) Strong understanding of data concepts such like data structures, algorithms, data mining, database management

8) Good analytical skills, and a quick learner

9) Knowledge of data analysis and Machine Learning
