We are hiring multiple Mid-Sr level Embedded Software Engineers! This client builds satellites and space systems for a wide variety of government and commercial customers. Its products include high-powered direct-to-home broadcast satellites, commercial weather satellites, digital audio radio satellites, Earth observation satellites and spot-beam satellites for data networking applications. The selected candidate will support NASA projects!
Primary Job Responsibilities:

• C embedded real-time development for VxWorks
• Developing flight software for satellite communication, networking, SpaceWire, cFS (core flight software), handling of low level communication with payload
• Unit testing of code (must be willing to do both development and testing)
• 5545 chipset development

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Must be eligible to obtain DOD clearance. No sponsorship available for this role.
• Must have strong C/C RTOS embedded experience
• Experience and willingness to do unit testing of code
• Aerospace experience is a huge plus

Must have experience with some of the following per the breakdown of the available openings:

• 1 role will be focused on VxWorks and maintenance of AWS Kernel across development environments and use of 5545 Errate chipset (Junior-Mid Level role)
• S1 role will be focused on low level HW/SW implementation of a multicore processor and 5545 chipset (mid-Sr level role)
• S2 roles will be focused on Layer 3 network architecture (mid-Sr level roles)
• 1 role will be focused on SpW router manager, FIPs/crypto SW framework (mid-Sr level role)
• 1 role will be focused on VxWorks supporting development for DSU, MP IO, SDM
