Primary Function:

Manage deployments, operations, and support of Zoro's email program within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Including HTML development of customer-facing emails, ownership of critical processes to support the email channel, monitoring of email activity to ensure operations are running as expected, and performance of quality assurance reviews for accurate campaign delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and deployment of all ad hoc email campaigns sent out of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance checks across all email campaigns to ensure accuracy throughout Zoro's email program.
• Administer render testing on newly developed email campaigns and update as needed to present a consistent email experience within the inboxes of all customers.
• Oversee multiple critical processes that include, but are not limited to: data distribution, email address validation, customer opt out maintenance, and customer data purge requests.
• Monitor daily deployments and weekly send volume trends in order to spot anomalies.
• Act as a consultant to internal stakeholders to walk them through the full email campaign process from ideation to deployment.
• Perform audience selections within SFMC to support targeted email campaigns.
• Manage email banner operations, which support all of Zoro's email campaigns.
• Identify opportunities for process and development improvements within the Zoro email program.
• Manage the documentation of both email campaign flows and email team processes and procedures.
• Perform project management duties to meet the customer communication needs of Zoro's teams.
• Stay up to date on Salesforce Marketing cloud releases and maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot email dev bugs and process failures.
• Work closely with Zoro's Creative Services team to perform campaign proofing and design translation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience within an enterprise level email service provider such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Intermediate understanding of HTML/CSS for email as well as comprehension of mobile responsive email development practices.
• Exposure to a dynamic scripting language such as AmpScript including the use of merge tags for email personalization.
• SQL knowledge or any other data selection language is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with email render testing services such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
• A general curiosity for how things work and an interest in digital marketing technology.
• Track record of enabling repeatable processes, driving advancement in quality, collaborating within a remote marketing organization in a responsive and productive manner.
• Experience converting strategic thoughts into actions that drive business results.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience in cultivating relationships with key stakeholders across functions and levels to achieve business objectives.
• Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
