Cardiac Management Solutions

Job purpose

As a part of the Human Resources team, the Associate Staffing Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting efforts. This includes the job requisition process, validating position requirements, job posting, sourcing, working with external contacts, vendor and schools, managing the interview process, making job offers and completing all pre-employment activities.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Confers with management and supervisors, as assigned, to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Oversees the job requisition process ensuring that positions are budgeted or have proper approvals for unbudgeted positions.
  • Writes and places job postings in various media.
  • Develops recruitment programs to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
  • Reviews applications to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinates job offer details with hiring manager/department heads and works with the hiring manager on making job offers.
  • In conjunction with the Recruiting Coordinator, coordinates all pre-employment verifications including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at job fairs.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Ensure position and applicant data are correct in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Files and maintains employment records for future references.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years related recruiting experience and/or training
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter features and Taleo a plus.

Working conditions

This position is generally performed in a typical office environment that is usually quiet. Employee is expected to work collaboratively with team members, as well as able to work independently with limited supervision. Work will require significant computer and telephone work.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Supervisory responsibility

This position has no direct reports but will partner regularly with the Recruiting Coordinator.
