Job Description
Job Role: Business Analyst
Location: Springfield, IL 62703
Duration: Long Term Contract With potential extension.
Job Descriptions:
- Resource must have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- Resource must have recent and proven experience involving IT projects with a minimum of five (5) years within the past ten (1)0 years working with public sector agencies.
- Resource must have a minimum of three (3) or more years’ 3 years’ experience diagraming detailed, formal requirements including Current State Cross-Functional Process Flows; Future State Cross-Functional Process Flows; Use Case Models; Data Flow Models; SWOT; Business Objective Models; Cause/Effect, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.
- Resource must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience gathering IT requirements from client / business partners.
- Resource must have a minimum of three (3) years of work experience with Illinois state agencies in an IT Business Analyst role.
- Resource must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working on Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Resource must be proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio or equivalent software applications.
- Resource must have a current and active International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certification. Failure to provide copy at time of bid submittal will result in disqualification and the Agency moving to the next vendor that is responsive and responsible with the lowest price. The offeror must provide a copy of a Permanent Resident card of any Resource that is not a US citizen at time of award. Failure to provide a copy at the time of award will result in disqualification and the Agency moving to the next vendor that is responsive and responsible with the lowest price.
