Our client is the first dedicated EV mass-production plant, and we're seeking a Quality Control Body & Paint Manager to drive excellence in our cutting-edge facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead body/paint quality control, ensuring high quality and conformity to international standards.
- Conduct quality inspection and improvement activities for BIW, BIP, and supplier's parts.
- Establish Operation Plan for quality assurance.
- Analyze BIW/BIP problems, drive improvement activities, and lead quality meetings.
- Manage quality facility/equipment, budget, and external events coordination.
- Foster inspectors, hire/arrange personnel, and oversee ongoing operations.
Other Duties
- Analyze process effectiveness and quality management systems.
- Monitor vehicle faults and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Plan, control, and monitor corrective actions for quality non-conformities.
- Develop recruitment planning, oversee ongoing operations, and analyze staff performance.
Qualifications & Preferences
- Minimum 8 years of related automotive quality experience.
- Experience managing more than 4 team members.
- Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
- 3D scanner measurement capabilities preferred.
Competency Based
- Strategic thinking, flexibility, problem-solving.
- Ability to understand drawings and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
- Travel Requirement: Domestic/International travel required.
