Colonial Group, Inc. is Hiring a Terminal Quality Compliance Manager Near Savannah, GA

The ISO/Quality Compliance Manager implements and maintains the quality management system. This position is responsible for writing, editing and revising quality documents at all levels of the quality system. The person in this role will manage documentation and data control, including the maintenance of the Quality Excellence SharePoint intranet site, internal audits, quality training and follow-up of compliance corrective and preventive actions. This individual will assist and/or lead safety and quality root cause investigations, as well as analyze trending. He/She will regularly interact with and train operators and may assist with measuring device calibrations. The individual in this role may assist and/or perform internal audits, as well as participate in cross-functional teams to define, evaluate and improve the quality management system. This position regularly interacts with all levels of operations including leadership. The individual may have regular contact with customers, regulatory agencies and other CGI departments. The position may be called upon to perform additional functions that are deemed necessary by management. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Maintain Quality Excellence SharePoint intranet site and quality records.Preserve Access database and generate reports for tank safe fill and tank capacities.Maintain records of internal and external audit reports and findings.Prepare and present annual management review meeting with top management and all managers involved with ISO.Participate and/or lead internal audits.Participate in external customer and regulatory audits.Work with functional groups across the network to review and improve quality.In charge of, participating and/or leading root cause investigations related to quality; analyze trending of such investigations.Create and report out KPIs for the Quality Department.Wear proper PPE, regardless of weather conditions, as required by the product being handled. Personal Protective Equipment may include all or a combination of a chemical suit, rubber boots, safety glasses, goggles, hard hat with face shield, chemical gloves, and/or respirator.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in a related curriculum or an equivalent combination education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Minimum 5 years’ experience with quality standardization and certification process, preferred.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to simplify or modify complex technical information as needed to communicate orally or in writing to non-technical staff or customers.Ability to work well with others in a positive environment.Ability to perform root cause analysis and investigation.Ability to perform training on an individual or group basis.Extensive knowledge of safety and quality procedures.Extensive knowledge of truck and tank car anatomy.Ability to build effective relationships.Strong organizational and time-management skills with limited supervision.Proficient in MS Office suite.Possess excellent presentation skills.Ability to read, gauge and calibrate measuring devices.Ability to handle multiple tasks, balance priorities and meeting competing tight deadlines.Must be a demonstrated leader and have strong core values that align with the Organizations’. Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The individual must have tolerance for exposure to all weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain and off-shift work schedules. Travel will be required locally, and on occasion regionally. Off-shift work may be required to fulfill position requirements.
