Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist

You will play a major role in helping the dealership’s accounting function run smoothly by performing accounting tasks and by providing valuable back-up to other areas. This is an entry level position that provides lots of variety. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn dealership accounting from experienced staff.

What You Will Do

Receive and verify invoices

Manage the check run

Responsible for maintaining vendor files including reconciling statements, researching and correcting discrepancies

Receipt payments from receivable vendors, send monthly statements, and collections

Process 1099s

Reconcile and research sublet schedules

Ordering and maintaining office supply inventory

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Two year degree in Accounting or in the pursuit of; or two years of experience in accounts payable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
