As the Mobile Engineering Manager, you will lead our iOS and Android development teams, driving the vision and execution of our mobile-first strategy. You will play a crucial role in transforming our mobile experiences, transitioning away from web views towards native mobile experiences, and creating compelling experiences for our users. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a team of iOS and Android engineers, providing guidance, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Cultivating leadership skills within your team by fostering an inclusive environment and offering opportunities for growth and development.

  •  Driving the vision and strategy for mobile-first development, prioritizing a native experience while balancing the need for speed-to-market for customer-facing features.

  • Upholding a high standard of mobile excellence, working closely with other teams to utilize and improve best-in-class mobile technology.

  • Fostering strong cross-functional relationships across the organization to promote collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Participating in hiring and sourcing to build a diverse, high-performance engineering team.

  • Collaborating with product and design leadership to define and prioritize projects that help us meet business objectives.

  • Ensuring the software your team delivers is of high quality, reliable, secure, and maintainable.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $197,100.00 - $314,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • At least 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing engineering teams.

  • At least 5 years of experience building mobile applications, with a working knowledge of both Swift and Kotlin programming languages and expertise in one of the two.

  • Passion for mentoring, growing the potential of others, and supporting direct reports.

  • An iterative approach to software development combined with the commitment to ownership, moving fast and thinking big.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments with minimal oversight.

  • Collaborative working style with a strong focus on execution and results.
