JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of the Doorkeeper involve presenting the property in a positive light by greeting all residents & guests upon arrival, helping (un)load luggage from vehicles, security agents, and helping keep the property clean and attractive.
WAGE/HOUR STATUS:
NIGHT SHIFT: Hourly (Non-exempt – eligible for overtime)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable federal, state and local laws.
Routinely performs the following duties:
Greets all guests and residents upon arrival.
Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
Concern about the resident's safety and will contact authorities when needed (ambulance, fire, and police).
Upon arrival and departure, greets and assist residents and guest by helping unload luggage from the vehicle.
Cleans lobby areas, courtyard, and entrances and maintains them free of debris in order to present a clean and attractive facility to residents and guests between housekeeping runs.
Be well-groomed and in uniform with a name tag at all times.
Hail Taxicabs, assist guests and residents into cars and taxis.
Prevent the entrance of unauthorized or undesirable persons.
Provide other assistance to guests and residents as necessary to ensure the highest quality of service.
Other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and Regional Managers to meet business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
The position requires good communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
