Pool Monitor - Job Description
As a Pool Monitor at Hamilton Square Apartments, your primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and sanitary pool area while ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. Here are the details:
Overview:
- Maintain a clean and safe pool area.
- Ensure all safety equipment is available and functional.
- Monitor and adjust pool temperature as needed.
Hours:
- Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Rotating shifts with another employee).
Season starts Memorial Weekend and ends Labor Day Weekend
Job Duties:
Welcome Residents:
- Greet residents with a smile and provide helpful assistance.
- Be respectful and friendly to all pool visitors.
Enforce Pool Rules:
- Ensure residents adhere to pool rules and regulations.
- Monitor pool capacity to prevent overcrowding.
Pool Maintenance:
- Clean and vacuum the pool regularly.
- Maintain skimmer baskets and backwash pool filters.
- Skim the pool surface as needed.
Safety Measures:
- Check safety equipment (e.g., first aid kit) daily.
- Keep pool bathrooms stocked and free of standing water.
- Sweep the pool deck and surrounding areas.
Furniture and Pool Tags:
- Straighten pool furniture to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Verify pool tags against a master list.
Communication:
- Notify the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor of any issues.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
- Clean common areas, including the clubhouse.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- Some High School Education (Required).
- Must know how to swim.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
- Pay: $15.00/hour.
- Job Type: Temporary.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with weekend availability.
