Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
Location:- Portland, OR 97213
Duration:- 16 Weeks
Shift:- Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Pay rate:- $51-$56/hr W2.

Responsibilities of Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, including psychological, emotional, and behavioral evaluations, to determine treatment needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer psychiatric medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists or healthcare providers, monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient response, and educate patients and families about medication management and potential risks.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, behavioral management techniques, and crisis intervention strategies to address acute psychiatric symptoms, de-escalate crisis situations, and promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care, participate in treatment team meetings, and review patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
- 1 year of experience.
- BLS
- Valid RN license.
- Covid card.
