Position: Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health)
Job Location: Portland, OR 97213

Shift:- Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Pay rate :$48 to $50/hr

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 years
• Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers.
• Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
• Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
• Certs: BLS

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:6
• Contract Length: Accepting 13 weeks!
• Hours: *36 Hours Can be Offered
• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed!
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required!

Job Responsibility :

In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Telemetry/Cardiac Unit. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
• Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
• Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
• Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
• Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
• Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
• Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
• Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families.
