We have an opportunity for an Information Systems Security Office IAM I at our Patuxent River, MD location.

ISSO Day-to-Day Operations:

1.Verify OS updates are installed as defined in ATO package.

2.Perform weekly audit review of system.

3.Review/ submit Plan of Action and Milestones with Risk Assessment Report to ISSM quarterly.

Best Candidate ISSO will have some SA experience to understand the level of effort and tasks associated with SA. Key item, ISSO needs to perform Audit Reviews and establish system procedures for doing audits.

The following minimum requirements are asked the ISSO have a thorough understanding to accomplish functional tasks as ISSO within the OASIS Facility.

1.Technical knowledge to perform Audit review via third party software or OS embedded capability.

2.Ability to Operate Auditing Software using Audit Server/ Client Software implementation to perform audit review in a centralized manner based on security control AU-2

3.Understanding of IT Account Management.

4.Ability to operate Security Center (DoD approved tool for system security scanning).

5.Create an ATO Risk Management Framework authorization package. Reciprocity can be used. Need to understand the following artifacts (template available on C-NET):

a.Hardware Listing -validate end of life and foreign ownership

b.Software Listing - validate end of life and foreign ownership

c.System Security Plan

d.Security Control Review and Analysis

e.Plan of Action and Milestone with Risk Assessment Report.

6. Proficient in analyzing security controls from any of the following documents (SP800-53, CNSSI 1253, JSIG).

7. IAM I Certified

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
