SMX is seeking a Junior Information Systems Security Officer to support the Software Engineering Department Support Services (SEDSS) contract at Patuxent River NAS, MD. As the Junior Information Systems Security Officer, you will: * Assist with planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information systems * Help ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure * Respond to computer security breaches and viruses * Provide maintenance and creation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages Required Skills and Experience: * Clearance Required: Secret * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline * Substitution: An Associate's degree and 4 years may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree * 6 years' additional experience within these functional duties in lieu of a degree * At least one (1) year of experience in Information Assurance related field * Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls/Risk Management Framework (RMF) Accreditation (assessment and authorization) Process * Security or equivalent DOD INST 8570 compliant certification required #LI-NF1 #cjpost Our tradition of delivering innovative, technical solutions dates back to 1995, however, you may know us better by one of our legacy company names: Trident Technologies, Smartronix, Datastrong or C2S Consulting Group.
