The Role

ZenBusiness is seeking a Human Resource Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team. This role goes beyond a traditional analyst role.You will play a key role in reimagining the employee experience across our systems and processes. You will be responsible for the analysis, documentation, and technical troubleshooting, and ensure the systems effectively support all HR functions.

This is a remote role and will report to our Sr. Director of Engineering. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with HR, Finance, IT, and other business partners to gather feedback from non-technical stakeholders build story maps, user stories, and actionable technical requirements, and execute test strategy.
• Critically evaluate HR information gathered from various sources, reconcile inconsistencies, and break down high-level information into details.
• Collaborate with other teams to build integrations manage efficient information flow between systems and track data integrity.
• Provide documentation of all processes and training materials as needed.
• Lead the analysis and thorough documentation of current and future state business processes that require improvement.
• Stay current on HRIS trends and best practices, recommending and implementing system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Excited to deliver impact through systems transformation with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• Solid functional knowledge of Cloud HR Products like Rippling and /or Workday, payroll and compensation reporting, recruiting tools, onboarding processes, performance management, and employee travel software.
• Be a data-driven person and a working knowledge of SQL queries so you can analyze HR data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights for informed decision-making.
• Good understanding of Human Resource functions, payroll concepts, headcount planning, and benefits administration.
• Proven experience working on integrations, reports, and data modeling and validation on human resource applications.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
• 3-5 years of experience working with information technologies, systems analysis, or start-up methodologies.
• Strong computer software and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant and actionable user stories.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential HR data with discretion and integrity.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or human resources or equivalent experience.
