We are looking to add to our team of drivers.
This is part time morning hours
Essential job functions: Use company provided vehicle to make deliveries to customers in a safe and courteous manner. Must consistently maintain accuracy on all paperwork, orders and schedules of deliveries. Comply with all company policies and safety rules. Pick up of customer returns.
Required skills:
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or other commercial vehicles to deliver parts to various locations
- Load and unload parts from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during the delivery process
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading parts
- Familiarity with using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Skills:
- Experience driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks
- Proficient in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns for efficient route planning
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle in various weather conditions and environments
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping of deliveries
