Zaxbys Franchising LLC is Hiring a Consultant, Operations Systems Near Atlanta, GA

The Zaxby’s Support Center is looking for an Operations Systems Consultant to join the Operations Services team. This position will assist with the implementation of all strategic improvement projects that affect store level operations and training and is responsible for assisting in integration, improving, and implementation of Zaxby’s strategic and non-strategic initiatives. Working closely with the Operational Innovation and Design teams, he/she will assist in determining how system improvements can be integrated into both new and old Zaxby’s restaurants designs as well as non-traditional platforms. The consultant will participate in leading training, monitoring, and implementing the current Inventory & Labor program to franchisee groups and management teams; and evaluate and identify operational areas for improvement, communicate and understand program components and functionality.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA and allows for a hybrid work schedule that requires 3 in-office days per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in aspects of the creation of new and changing procedures that impact the operational platform including field test
  • Plan visits/meetings to help support both franchisee and field representatives adjusting as issues arise
  • Identify process and procedures needing improvement, create solutions, and implement accordingly
  • Cross-functionally work with multiple ZFL departments to apply meaningful data to ZFL strategic initiatives during pilot testing and implementation
  • Consult and collaborate with vendor partners to improve Zaxby’s operations throughout different phases of creation, maintenance and implementation
  • Provide content to multiple ZFL departments for training and implementation of the operational system or strategic projects
  • Provide input to help improve and maintain the ZU, Manual, and other documents 
  • Conduct, attend and/or participate in ZFL internal training and field training for tests & implementations
  • Assist in creating support tools and materials for new and existing concepts 
  • Communicate with all Operations leadership, field team representatives, and the Franchisee community feedback on previous improvements and planned future improvements
  • Evaluate information received from the field or within the corporate structure and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate department
  • Assist in training to competency the leadership/franchisees and managers for locations to properly use the Inventory and Labor system for inventory and labor
  • Learn all essential functions of the Inventory and Labor system and maintain a working knowledge of the system and its components
  • Develop learning plans and assist in rolling out training for franchisees and managers of locations
  • Communicate with multiple departments regarding the standard of the Inventory and Labor Program and its components, facilitate understanding of the program and its role in the Zaxby’s brand

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related managerial experience and/or training; QSR/restaurant operations experience a plus
