Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our team. As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems. Your expertise in computer hardware, operating systems, and software troubleshooting will be essential in providing excellent technical support to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and virus scans
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions
- Follow company policies and procedures for data security and confidentiality
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and iOS
- Familiarity with mobile devices (Android/iOS) and their operating systems
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
