Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team at our private country club. As a Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the evening operations of the dining room, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the dining room operations
- Train and supervise dining room staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Implement and enforce food safety standards and regulations
- Oversee banquet events
- Act as closing manager for the country club
- Other duties as required by the Food & Beverage Manager
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
