What You’ll Do
As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products (units/revenue). Creates and maintains forecast models by SKU for key accounts, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and customers
You will:
  • Analyze factors impacting demand for mobile accessory products (e.g., category trends, promotions, competitive products, seasonality, retail consumption, indirect channels), and build statistical models that quantify the business environment.
  • Manage demand forecasts based on trends, seasonality, and promotions while factoring in channel inventory, in-stock %, and life cycle of products.
  • Lead collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment meetings with key accounts.
  • Partner with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and customers to collectively make decisions that minimize the negative financial impact.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy, inventory, service level, and customer in-stock % targets.
  • Communicate material shortages and delays to appropriate customer contacts.
  • Lead S&OP meetings for key accounts.
What You’ll Need to be Successful
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, sum-ifs, conditional formatting, lookups).
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to analyze situations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present ideas in an easy-to-understand engaging manner.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented; able to prioritize effectively.
  • Able to adapt to changing job requirements.
  • Able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Able to complete projects under tight deadlines, even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
  • BA/BS degree plus 2 years of supply chain experience or 5 years of supply chain-related experience.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Demand Planning system experience is a plus
