What you'll do

As the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for demand figures across all product categories, which will then drive production and directly affect the availability of inventory to Trü Frü's customers.

This is a pivotal role which will interact with an array of internal stakeholders, including leaders in Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, R&D and Quality and therefore requires effective communication and influencing skills while at the same time having the ability to deliver effective, timely resolution of issues.

  • Own Demand Planning forecast accuracy and bias measures (individual targets)
  • Maintain relationships with collaborative partners to gather intelligence and improve forecast accuracy for all UPCs; Own preparations, facilitation, and follow ups for Cross-Functional Review(s) for all UPCs
  • Be an active member of the Extended Finance Leadership (xFLT) and High Point based Operations Leadership teams; promote culture & career experiences that develop future leaders of KIND NA Finance

Planning & Accountabilities

  • Review statistical data trends, assumptions from the field and compile intelligence for data manipulation to create and maintain monthly SKU forecasts for assigned product categories within the planning system
  • Utilize consumption data and customer data to make changes to forecast analysis, executing changes based on accuracy analysis and other driving factors including history, trends, and promotions based on sales feedback. Responsible for adjusting forecast numbers based on analysis
  • Own post-mortem analysis to identify gaps in forecast against actual performance, and make necessary decisions and changes to improve forecast accuracy for next month
  • Merge business knowledge and expertise with statistical models in order to enhance the forecast while also integrating input from Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to create new product launch forecasts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, usage of stat models, system configuration and reporting tools
  • Provide forecast intelligence to supply planning to help drive KIND's ability to deliver targeted service level performance
  • Share ownership in company case fill service level performance
  • Participate in special projects, providing leadership as needed, including Annual Operating Process (AOP), cycle analysis/product exits, and other special projects as they arise.

Integrated Business Planning: Consensus Demand Meeting

  • Lead conversation in Periodic Business Review
    o Periodic Brand Review meeting to align on recommended demand forecast that incorporates inputs from Field Sales, Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain
    o Capture and maintain list of identified risks and opportunities that accompany the consensus forecast

You have...

  • 3-5 years of experience within Supply Chain, preferably in Demand Planning
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field (e.g., business, supply chain, finance, marketing, etc)
  • Prior experience working in an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, V-lookups, formulas, etc.
  • Demonstrated analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Pluses (if applicable)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Tier 1 ERP systems (preferably SAP S$ HANNA) and Tier 1 Planning systems (preferably Blue Yonder)
  • Experience with statistical forecasting and maintaining demand plans for large and diverse SKU mixes across multiple categories
  • APICS Certification
