Job Details
Responsibilities of the Sr. System Engineer include:
- Manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, malware and other software and hardware.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise.
- Monitor the system daily and respond quickly to any security breaches or usability concerns.
- Backup systems and verify that backups have been completed.
- Regularly upgrade systems as needed.
- Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system.
- Research software and hardware products and prepares purchase orders.
- Installation and updates of workstation and peripheral software
- 6 years of experience
- Experience with Juniper products required - Design and implement network of firewalls, load balancers and other network system and services.
- Working knowledge of Cisco /Meraki switches, routers and wireless systems
- Working knowledge of Barracuda firewalls
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPN, DNS (Public Private), Domain Management, HTTPS, FTP, NTP
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Document and analyze software and hardware issues.
- Design, test and implement systems solutions.
- Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
