Job Description: Parsons is seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer who desires to focus on soup to nuts cyber project technical delivery and coordination – to completely own cutting edge projects and ensure their success by doing whatever it takes to achieve that success. You'll be engineering projects that will develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities You'll coordinate with various parties to ensure the mission effect is achieved, and utilize your technical expertise throughout the entire process to ensure everything is accomplished in a sound and secure manner. What You'll Be Doing: Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners Work complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team Design and deliver solutions What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Engineer with significant cloud, administration, and network expertise Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline Minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification 5 years AWS, GCP, or Azure experience What Desired Skills You'll Bring: AWS (Foundational, Associate, Professional levels, and Specialty) Azure (Fundamentals, Associate, Expert, and Specialty) Google/GCP (Foundational, Associate, Professional levels) Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering INCOSE CISSP Security Microsoft: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) and similar. Red Hat: RHCSA, RHCE, etc. Terraform and other HashiCorp like Vagrant Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes, Docker, etc. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
