Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant include:
- Making sure that the patients’ vital signs are checked regularly
- Helping nurses and other staff of the facility with their additional tasks
- Helping patients with their daily basic needs like bathing them, feeding them nutritious food, engaging them in interactive activities regularly, and more
- Ensuring that every important detail is recorded and/or documented
- Communicating with the facility’s staff to come up with solutions to problems
- Providing emotional support to our patients
Requirements of a Certified Nursing Assistant include:
- High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
- Actively CNA licensed or interested in acquiring a CNA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can maintain the confidentiality of patients’ personal information
- Flexible with different work schedules
Pay: $15/hr (may increase depending on experience)
