MISSION AND VISION:
To provide schools with experiences that inspire character, civility and community so that our next generation of leaders is grounded in character.
ORGANIZATIONAL CORE VALUES:
Youth Frontiers staff members aspire daily to demonstrate a strong understanding and use of YF’s core values:
PURPOSE:YCorps is a five-month apprenticeship for young professionals who want to develop themselves professionally and personally while making a difference in the world.
Over the course of five months (July-Dec), YCorps members work directly with Youth Frontiers Program Facilitators and Musicians to facilitate daylong student programming (retreats) for students in grades 4-10. As part of these retreats, YCorps members lead games and activities while communicating compelling content that will inspire students to lead lives of character.
Outside of retreats, YCorps members attend regular staff meetings, intensive training, coaching sessions, and work alongside other YCorps members in focused personal and professional development experiences.
