YCS is hiring a Child Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric assessments and medication monitoring to youth at our Holley Center residential program as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Able to perform initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews, develop and follow through with treatment plans, and maintain timely and focused documentation through the electronic medical record.

• Ability to apply and implement evidence-based approaches to care including using evidence-based guidelines for prescriptions and monitoring medications in the pediatric population

• Participate in educational activities and development of management support materials for members of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a New Jersey Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable.
