Contractual: Part-time to Full-time

PhG Services, LLC (PHG) is a private practice group that offers mental health services in River Edge, NJ and the surrounding communities. PHG provides services to children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. We are looking for a dedicated and professional psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse who has a vast array of experience and knowledge to join the practice on an independent and contractual basis.

The candidate will provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to functional adult/child population with private insurances or Medicare. This position is ideal for someone seeking to transition into private practice, but does not want to assume the risk. The candidate MUST have a valid license to practice psychiatry in NJ. The candidate MUST be on a minimum of 2 major insurance panels already and be willing to add others over time. The position is for an independent contractor position with no benefits.

The position is very flexible as you are able to create your own schedules. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing private practice group. You will be working alongside licensed clinicians in a professional setting.

It is preferred that the applicant have experience working with both children and adults.

The candidate will:

Candidate will begin on a part-time basis, which may expand as success is demonstrated. Successful applicants must have a serious commitment to life-long growth and a desire to work as part of a team is preferred. Office space, waiting room, supplies, computer access, advertising, billing and referrals WILL be provided.

Compensation is on a percentage basis.

Education, Experience and Licensure Requirements

Doctorate Medical Degree or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Must have New Jersey MD, DO or APN Licensure

Must have prescriptive authority

Must have 1-2 years post degree experience.
