Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Crew Leader to join our team. The Crew Leader will oversee and coordinate the activities of construction workers on various projects. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and a solid background in construction management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead construction crews on-site
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics
- Enforce safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Manage project schedules and deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship
- Train and mentor team members
- Scheduling and maintaining service on work truck, tools, and equipment
- Keep track of expenses, time sheets, and other clerical duties
Skills:
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Experience in budgeting and contract management
- Knowledge of construction management principles
- Competence in reading blueprints and schematics
- Understanding of OSHA regulations for construction sites
- Strong supervisory and leadership abilities
- The skills to also perform the jobs well and to Young's 180 standards
