Job Description

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Operations Manager for Master Resilience Training/Training Center Support (MRT/TCS) to support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G9, Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) for the purpose of increasing the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians, Department of the Defense Personnel, Contractors supporting R2 Programs, United States (US) Government Agencies, and Allied Forces. DPRR ensures the training programs, services, and tools offered complement one another, are not duplicative, are outcome based, and are standardized across the Army to include the reserve components. Furthermore, DPRR ensures that all training have demonstrated effectiveness, applying accepted methodology with scientifically demonstrated effectiveness.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Shall be responsible for managing operations, to include the distribution of work assignments, establishing milestones, monitoring progress in accordance with established practices and timelines; assessing progress and providing guidance, to include goals, objectives, and milestones, ensuring production meets expectations; and provide comprehensive reports to Government Representatives.
  • Responsible for monitoring program implementation, providing guidance to Ready and Resilient Performance Centers (R2PC) support staff and Performance Center Managers (PCMs), and ensuring accurate implementation of the Programs of Instruction (POI).
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating existing SOPs, overall operations and scheduling, and publishing correspondence that affects R2PC operations.
Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in a position that involves the management of training or education programs.
  • Shall, at a minimum, possess a master’s degree in business, operations, logistics, management, or related field.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience serving in the military and/or working with military is preferred but not required.

Clearance: Must pass a NACI Background Investigation.

Location: Arlington, VA / Telework or Remote

Travel: Extensive travel may be required.
