Yorktown Systems Group is Hiring a LREC Program Management and Academic Specialist (LMAS) Near Fort Bragg, NC

Job Description:


Summary:

U.S. Special Operations Command 1st Special Forces Command (SFC) Airborne (A) has an ongoing requirement for foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) instruction and LREC program support services.

The contractor shall provide LREC support personnel that have military experience, required to have military linguist background and have knowledge of Command Language Programs (CLP). Must have additional expertise in manipulating MS Suites with emphasis on excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Schedule, web-based systems, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access, MS Teams, and Outlook and other software programs. The contractor shall have excellent communication and organizational skills, and leadership skills to work effectively with government and contract staff and understands the parameters inherent in each category. TS/SCI Clearance Required

Provide administrative support to the military CLPM for maintenance of the linguist skills database, specifically ILTPs. Review historical data in the database to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the CLP and make recommendations. Maintain correspondence related to the CLP, such as the CLP SOP. In support of the CLPM, monitor ILTPs, to assess progress and recommend adjustments to training then review with the linguist at least quarterly. Maintain links to all relevant publications, such as AR 11-6, AR 11-8, DA Form 330, and other regulatory requirements. Support self-study initiatives in the ILTP and monitor program schedule. Coordinate and recommend language resources, publications, software, and other items pertinent to the operation of the CLP. Provide command level briefs, ILTPS, and general support to the CLP and staff, as requested.

LREC Program Management and Academic Specialist (LMAS). The LMAS will provide support to the unit LREC Training Program. LMASs will observe, analyze, and evaluate all aspects of the organization's LREC program in accordance with established academic, organizational, and other standards specified in the individual task order.

. Assess and analyze advanced language testing statistics, advanced LREC training database statistics, analyze advanced language training POI and recommend changes that enhance the effectiveness of the 1st SFC's advanced language training program

. Assist GOVT manage process improvements to the 1st SFC's advanced language training program, recommend metrics and implement approved metrics, and collect data to measure improvements

. Facilitate implementation of approved changes to the 1st SFC's advanced language training program

. Shall collect and analyze individual language testing results from subordinate commands for the purpose of conducting consolidated analysis reports. These reports will be accomplished by compiling required testing analytical reports, reviewing/identifying gaps, and reporting trends within unit training programs

. Conduct analysis of after action reports from each advanced language training course of instruction in order to produce consolidated reporting on the identified recommendations concerning the 1st SFC Command LREC Training

Program

. The LMAS will keep track of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) such as multi-media equipment, laminator/poster maker tape, duplicating equipment, LREC training facility equipment, satellite communications equipment, and video cameras used in instructional programs if required by the curriculum. The LMAS will be responsible for coordinating with organizational IT staff to ensure installation of programs needed to execute LREC instruction.

. The LMAS will manage Day-to-day operation and monitoring of the language lab/facility. LMASs will assist learners in the selection and checkout of materials and in using language facility equipment. LMASs will aid instructors in the usage of the computers and software. They will also identify defective equipment, identify lost or stolen equipment, and maintain accountability for hardware, software, and materials as identified in individual task order.

. The LMAS will maintain learner records and profile cards as required or requested ensuring both are up-to-date. The LMAS provides the COR with learner enrollment and attendance documents and completion certificates. The LMAS notifies the COR within 24 hours of all learner, logistical, or instructor problems negatively impacting instruction.

. The LMAS will assist in inputting data into a spreadsheet or database designed for tracking LREC instruction and proficiency. Such data will be provided by the CLPM and/or COR.

. The LMAS will provide support with such administrative functions as inspecting, maintaining, and installing all unit language instructional automated data processing and audio visual equipment (this includes loading software and drivers, set-up, connectivity, and installation), copying, typing, duplication of classroom materials (audio, audio-visual, paper, and training/job aids), classroom setup and tear-down, arranging for supplies, training aid support, and other tasks of this nature.

Required Qualifications:

The LMAS shall have a bachelor's degree in any field or 5 years' experience managing DoD LREC programs.

2 years' experience managing instructors in a military environment

Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Location: FT Bragg, NC

Travel: Up to one week of travel per month may be required at CONUS locations
