Yo Poké is a quick service restaurant serving poké bowl, burrito and nacho. We are looking for a full time Assistant Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with food service operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Working with employees during day-to-day tasks Placing food orders
Overseeing inventory stocking
Overseeing restaurant staff performance
Supervise staff and provide assistance, as needed Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes Arrange for new employees’ proper scheduling training Smooth out problems within the workplace Troubleshoot POS system, Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements and skills

Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry Familiarity with restaurant POS system
Good math and reporting skills
Customer service attitude

Commination and team management abilities
Availability wot work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends) High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
