On a regular day, you will...

• Explain and enforce safety regulations and rules

• Monitor for any safety hazards, and assist in activities

• Remain rescue-ready at all times and implement emergency procedures as needed

• Assess the swimming capabilities of everyone in the aquatics area and ensure individuals are not allowed in areas that place them at undue risk

• Swim Instructors provide structured lessons following YUSA curriculum

• Training and shadowing shifts as a regular part of every aquatic team member's on boarding and orientation.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

• Current certifications in Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, Pro CPR, First Aid and Oxygen, or willing to obtain

• Seeking applicants with daytime availability interested in summer season employment anticipated start date in May or June, sooner if available!
