The Southeast Family YMCA is seeking a hard-working and responsible person to join our team! The custodian will assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility and grounds. MUST be available nights and weekends!
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Assists in all aspects of maintenance and cleanliness of facility and grounds.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Complete all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. Duties include but are not limited to, wet and dust mopping, dusting, locker room cleaning, floor scrubbing, cleanings of all the toilets, urinals, and showers, trash removal, window washing, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care, general cleaning of the facility.
- Operate related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
- Record and report all needed repairs, repair as directed.
- Ensure YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous situations to Property Director.
- Replace soap, paper towels and other supplies.
- Set up and take down of furniture for various events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the YMCA Executive Director or/and Property Director.
