Our Maintenance Technicians, known internally as Facility Supervisors, play a crucial role in our customers' exceptional experience with Red Dot Storage. Reporting to the Southern Regional Manager, our Facility Supervisors manage anywhere from 2-10 Red Dot properties within a designated region and will be provided the transportation and tools they need to maintain our facilities. They do not supervise people, only facilities.

In this role, your responsibilities will be to:

·Drive to and from assigned properties

·Perform storage unit inspections at all assigned properties

·Perform property repairs and light maintenance (reset kiosk, clean out units, install latches, etc)

·Prep units that come up for auction

·Add and remove overlocks for delinquent tenants

·Complete task list provided by manager

·Ensure property maintains professional curb appeal

·Oversee contractor activities (landscapers, painters, etc.)

·Partner with Customer Service Agents on scheduling various customer needs

·Additional tasks as required

Skills and traits we are looking for include:

·2 Years of Maintenance Technician experience

·A positive, self-starter attitude

·Excellent communication and organizational skills

·Property maintenance experience (schools, apartments, self-storage, commercial buildings, etc.)

·Reliable and excellent time management skills

·Basic mechanical and computer skills

·Possession of a valid Drivers’ License

·Possess of a clean driving record and background check

·The ability to meet physical demands of the job (frequent driving, heavy lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing

ladders, kneeling, etc.).

·The ability to work any day of the week, including weekends

·The ability to attend company meetings and trainings
