YellowCab Transportation | Charlotte NC is Hiring an Office Manager Near Charlotte, NC

YellowCab is looking to find a candidate to join out team. Our ideal candidate is familiar with Microsoft Office Products, can learn our software and is willing to learn. Ultimately, the responsibilities of this position are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and assist where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Perform checks of the posting process
  • Process / maintain accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner
  • Request and process W9 forms
  • Maintain an orderly filing system
  • Communication (email and telephone) with vendors, customers, and co-workers
  • Research discrepancies in records
  • Expense receipt reconciliation
  • Maintaining team member personnel information, including payroll processing, updating personnel files/binders and training records
  • Assist with team member on-boarding and welcome orientation process
  • Maintain training records and ongoing data entry into training system

Skills

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
  • Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Proficiency in English and hands-on experience in MS Office.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail (CRUCIAL)
  • BS degree in Finance or Accounting not required, but a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and be adaptable to change
  • A “can do” attitude
