The ideal applicant will be able to relate well as a patient advocate through interaction and engagement in order to improve the patient's experience with our home health services.

Duties:

• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental and social condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse and/or supervisor
• Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed
• Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs as needed
• Maintain resident clothing and closet in a neat and orderly manner
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization while providing personal care assistance
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• 18 years old and above
• Valid Driver’s License with an insured automobile
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass drug tests
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently as needed for the job
• Willingness to be trained
