Essential Duties

• Create and maintain a calm, safe, environment conducive to the health and wellness of our residents
• Attend to the individual needs of our residents such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and providing comfort and assistance with activities of daily living
• Accomplish tasks such as checking vital signs, weighing patients, applying creams/ointments, applying/changing dressings 
• Inform the nurse supervisor or Registered Nurse for any changes in the resident’s condition
• Ensure confidentiality of all resident care information at all times
• Monitor residents routinely and address any personal or medical needs as needed
• Help with patient mobility, transfers, ambulations, and routine exercises

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Clean criminal background check
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 1-2 years of CNA experience encouraged but not required
• Current proof of a TB test within the last 12 months
• Willingness to be trained if no experience
