Position Overview:
Maü Miami is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing exceptional service by ensuring that dishes are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of service and supporting the kitchen and wait staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables rapidly and accurately.
- Ensure that food is presented to guests in an appealing manner.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and needs.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need and notify servers of any guest needs.
- Refill water glasses and provide bread, condiments, and other table items as needed.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean dining environment.
- Support the kitchen team by running food orders and assisting with basic prep work as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required.
