Job Description:

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Researches products, services, technology, and concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience
• Fluency in technical and common office software
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Written and oral communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proposal Preparation duties include:

• Front-end strategy and planning, including input to resource assessments
• Revise, write, and proof material for government proposals, procedures reports, manuals, brochures, and related technical and administrative material
• Input to pre-solicitation marketing materials
• Analyze/comment on draft/final solicitation
• Input to Company/Team briefings
• Development of proposal highlights, i.e., themes, discriminators, features/benefits, etc.
• Contribute to proposal content to include writing assignments and editing
• Coordinate/integrate in support of proposal process
• Support proposal reviews/corrective action
• Assist in building a broad, sustainable business development and proposal development capability

General Duties include:

• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed
• Research, analyze, evaluate process, write, edit, coordinate, manage and report technical data and documentation, and provide technical support.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical and business terminology
• Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation
• Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team
• Perform other duties as assigned.
