Job Title: Technical Product Owner (TPO)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our dynamic team. The TPO will play a critical role in driving the technical aspects of product development, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, AWS concepts, and cloud applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize technical expertise to break down user stories and requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
2. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
3. Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the product development lifecycle.
4. Keep leaders and key stakeholders informed about project progress, challenges, and decisions, providing regular updates and reports as needed.
5. Demonstrate proficiency in AWS concepts and cloud applications, leveraging cloud services to optimize product development and deployment processes.
6. Apply knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies to plan and drive sprint cadences, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the development lifecycle, from ideation and planning to deployment and maintenance.
8. Provide technical leadership within the team, guiding discussions and decisions related to technical design, architecture, and implementation.
9. Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to prioritize tasks and deliverables for each sprint, ensuring that sprint goals are achievable and aligned with the overall product roadmap.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
3. Strong technical expertise in software development, with proficiency in programming languages, databases, and web technologies.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. In-depth knowledge of AWS concepts and cloud applications, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and services.
6. Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
7. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
8. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
10. Certification in Agile or SAFe methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is a plus.
