Job Description
Summary
The main role of our BI Analyst is to be part of the strategic design and maintenance of our platform. As a BI Analyst, you will assist in analyzing business needs to help ensure solutions meet the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business awareness.
Your Responsibilities:
· Design, develop and maintain reporting and business intelligence solutions through the use of reporting software
· Work closely with Data Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues and maintain a high level of data accuracy in visualization and reporting using Tableau
· Review current state and identify improvement opportunities and best practice recommendations
· Manage data warehouse views for accuracy
· Assist in troubleshooting and supporting complex pharmaceutical platforms
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
· Excellent business, communication, and project management skills are crucial for this role to define key business questions
· 4 years working with SQL
· 4 years’ experience with Tableau
· 4 years’ working with large and complex datasets
· Previous experience in the PBM and/or data/analytics industries preferred
· Strong intellectual curiosity and demonstrated ability to understand and question the data
· Deep analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data results into actionable business insights
· Advanced problem solving skills
· Entrepreneurial Drive
· Strong ability to interact, communicate, present and influence within multiple levels of the organization
· Experience with AWS preferred
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Proven professional experience with regulatory compliance and requirements including HIPAA
