Coordinates the team’s work with the ongoing modernization of the transactional database.
  • Gathers input, feedback, and requirements from stakeholders and effectively communicates these to the team. Ensures that the final product meets quality standards and fulfills user expectations by working closely with the Quality Assurance team. Validates that the developed features meet the acceptance criteria of the business and align with the product vision before they are considered done.
  • Identifies potential risks and issues related to product delivery and works with the development team to address them proactively.
  • Understands company operations, applications, and the value they provide, and the interoperability and dependencies across technology functions. Stays up to date with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, expectation management skills, and organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective and professional communication skills as appropriate to the audience.
  • Knowledge of database and data warehouse design principles. Experience with legacy system transformation is a plus.
  • Expertise with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio; Jira; Agile methodology; dashboard design.

Personal Qualities

  • A sense of ownership, urgency, and drive while planning the best course to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Curious, able to think strategically and system wide, understanding connections and ripple effects across the enterprise while still getting into the weeds.
  • Tenacious, dogged, not satisfied until an issue or project is fully closed.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, information systems, software engineering, or related field or a combination of education and experience.

Benefits
